Emergency school closing sign-up for parents:
We know our parents have busy schedules and we understand the importance of providing a stable, consistent learning environment for the children. Although rare, sometimes severe weather conditions make it impractical for the schools to operate.
The Deerfield Montessori Schools use the 'School
Messenger' system as the primary notification system for
school closings and other important announcements. If
you have already registered with that system, you will
automatically be notified of school closings or other
important information at the phone numbers and/or email
addresses that you provided. It is imperative that you
keep your information up to date. If you wish to update your information

As a secondary system we also post school closings on the
web site:

Here you can view a list of area school closings.
If your school is open, the status is listed as 'OPEN' or
'HAS NOT REPORTED'.
If your school is closed, it will
be listed as '(TODAY) CLOSED'.
If the school will close early, open late or there is some
special information to convey, that will also be posted
there.
Sometimes the ECC website cannot handle the large volume of web traffic it receives. If you are unable to view your school's Open/Closed status using the above links, please try this link for the complete list of all closings:
As part of the ECC system, you can also register your email address with them to receive an email when your school changes their open/closed status. If you would like to register (or unsubscribe) your email address with ECC, please click on the name of your school below.
